SYD connection time

A friend and I have an upcoming trip in December that takes us AKL-SYD-BKK. We'd originally had 2.5 hours in SYD for the connection, but the SYD-AKL flight got moved up an hour, thus reducing our connection time to 1.5 hours. We're arriving on Air New Zealand in C and departing on Thai in F. Should we be concerned with the connection or is 1.5 hours sufficient for connecting through SYD?

Thanks for the advice!

90 minutes should be fine. If on two tickets its up to you whether you want to risk it but on one ticket there shouldn't be a problem.

Agree. Assuming either no checked luggage, or bags are through checked (possible on a single ticket but Air NZ won't through check if on separate tickets), then all you need to do on arrival is clear transfer security and go up 2 levels to the SQ F or NZ C lounge to await boarding.
