ET's official date of entry to *A
Does anyone know the official joining date of ET into Star Alliance? I know it's been listed as some time this month but does anyone know exactly which day?

When they were announced as a future member last September ET indicated that they hoped to complete their accession within a year, quite an ambitious target, as typically it takes 12-18 months. I have heard rumours ( which I cannot verify) that 1 November is now being viewed as the likely official date. I would be happy to be proven wrong, but I don't think that you should hold your breath for a joining date this month.

Nice to have more * choices in Africa.
I will probably still opt to fly SN for my current home airport but nice to have choices nevertheless.
