eVouchers

Forgive me my very basic question - I am a new elite member with Miles & More and am completely confused with a brand-new system (for me).

I would like to upgrade a flight reservation made by my employer and have the miles to do so, but, according to the online system, lack the necessary eVouchers. I can find a lot of reading on how to use eVouchers, but cannot find out how these are awarded. Can anyone clarify?

Thanks!

Your question is better answered in the LH forum as it's M+M specific. Ask the moderator to move it for you.

As soon as you achieve Senator or HON Circle Member status you will receive two or six upgrade vouchers – known as eVouchers.....

Hum, seems you can only upgrade upon getting senator status. The question that comes next is of course why then count miles? But I have a bit of a simplistic way of thinking these things...

You can upgrade as an FTL using miles. There's plenty of information on the M+M website, if you care to do even the most basic research

I don't get the reason for the rudeness here. You did not have to answer if you didn't want to.

I did search. I could not find a way to upgrade that did not require eVouchers, and I could not find how they are awarded, just how to use them.

But thanks for your attention, anyway.

Just an update - the problem was actually a glitch in the system, which has now been resolved. No eVouchers necessary after all.
