I saw this thread, with its "Award Comparison Chart" (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/star-...son-chart.html) but the link seems to be dead.

I was wondering if there is currently a comparison chart like the one which the link in the thread above is supposed to direct us to, either on FT or elsewhere? Had a look but can't seem to find anything.

I'm specifically looking at pros and cons of earning *A miles on different *A airlines (rather than awards really). Which are the better ones and so on. Because to get an award, you first have to get the miles anyway! I'm currently a member of LH Miles&More, but am wondering if there might be a better option.

Preferably something which, like Qantas FF, doesn't expire and something that awards lots of miles, even when you don't have much of a status with the airline

is there any such resource? In particular, it would be good to know which FF program and award airline combinations include YQ.

found this on a another website. I got too used to FT being the primary source of information on such matters. This is only about YQ on award bookings, so leaves much to desire.
