Moving from *A Silver to Gold
Hi,
I am one flight away from *A Gold.
I will be taking a 6 flight journey in the next week.
The first flight will be enough miles to get me my BMI Gold Membership.
Given I will not have the actual gold card until I return, can i use the fact that my online account will say gold status to access the *A Gold Lounges for the other five flights?
Thanks

In theory you should have access to *G lounges after your first flight but in practice it may be difficult for lounge wardens to check your new status.
Folks in the BMI Diamond Club forum may be able to advise how you can prove your *G status.

I would also double check your status on the remaining flights. I know with UA when I went to 1K last year any flight I already had booked travel as a P Exec remained at that level (include upgrade priority).

I had the problem of my gold card being lost in the mail when my membership year renewed.
So, I asked Diamond Club to send me a letter by email stating that my Gold Card was arriving, and I printed the letter out. I also printed my most recent bmi statement. I had no problem getting into Red Carper Club in Chicago, Minneapolis, as well as the Maple Leave Lounge is LA and Vancouver. On the letter, there is a phone number for the lounge to call shall they have question regarding your membership status.
Hope this helps.

Ooops, I just posted this same answer elsewhere; here would have been more useful.
It's going to depend on how quickly your FF airline updates your status. I arrived at LHR on a flight that gave me *G, but was denied use of the *A lounge for a connecting flight. They used my *S card to pull up my status with UA, which had not yet been updated.
They weren't at all interested in printouts of my account status, mileage totals, and my arrival BP.
