Aegean
I just returned from a Salt Lake ski vacation on United. I used my Aegean Blue card to save baggage fees at checkin. Worked well. I'm not sure how to handle my air miles. I like the free baggage part as being an Aegean Blue card member so I would like to continue my status with Aegean. However I probably won't use the air miles I accumulate through this type of arrangement unless I switch the milage credit to United. I would like to keep my Blue/Silver Card status since I only fly once or twice a year.
So, can I have it both ways? Fly United get United airmiles while using my Aegean card at checkin or Fly United and get Aegean airmiles and maintain my card status. I think I only need to fly 4000 miles in a 2 yr period to maintain my Aegean status, but I'm not sure.
Thanks

Where's it mentioned that you don't pay the baggage fee if you're an A3 frequent flyer? I never saw anything similar in either UA's or A3's web pages. I paid UA about 100$ last month, if I had known...
