*A website error or unpublished change in policy?
Hi All,
I'm currently a BMI *G and will have a few domestic trips coming up in economy. On the *A website's lounge finder in the past when you enter departing/arriving airports, class of travel, etc, it would show that BMI DC Gold members can access *A lounges even on a domestic econ ticket. here's the excerpt from the site:
"Star Alliance Gold Customers Travelling in Any Class: Customers have access to any Star Alliance member carriers' owned lounges with the Star Alliance Gold logo at the entrance.
Customer must present a valid frequent flyer programme Star Alliance Gold level card
Customer must also present a boarding card for a same day Star Alliance flight departing from the local airport
Customer is entitled to one guest
Continental, United, and US Airways Star Alliance Gold customers may only access the Presidents Club, Red Carpet Club and US Airways Clubs within the U.S. when travelling in conjunction with a Star Alliance international flight."
Now when I use the same "calculator" it comes up as no lounges being available. I've tried my upcoming routes all of which connect through ORD (GRR-EWR / GRR-SNA / GRR-IAD) and no lounges were available. Even when
I just put in ORD as my starting point in case it only looked at my origin, I still rec'd the "no lounges available" message. So I'm wondering if there's been a policy change or should I just have a print out of the above excerpt with me when I travel?
thanks in advance for the info!

The policy hasn't changed for accessing the RCCs as a BD *G holder. I think the *A site is broken as it is giving bad data for a number of searches I did recently. Apparently it is known for having problems.

Same for ZRH-JFK.
Now ORD-FRA both the LX and UA F lounges show up.
