Linking two separate tickets?

Hi everyone..hope I am posting this in the right place. I have a ticket on CO to YUL (coming in from the USA)and then a separate ticket on AC from YUL to FRA. Is there a way CO can link to my AC ticket so that I can check my bags straight through to FRA or will I need to treat these as two separate trips? Reason I ask is I have only two hours between arrival in YUL and the flight to FRA.

Any ideas or information would be greatly appreciated.
FYI I am Star Alliance Silver if that makes any difference.

It is not possible to link the two together. That said, they do not have to be in order to check the bags through. Bring a print-out of your AC ticket with all the details to the CO counter when you check in and ask them to interline the bag all the way to your final destination. Officially they do not have to but if you arrive at the counter early and ask nicely they should have no problem doing so. In YUL you should speak to someone from AC as you are getting your boarding pass and mention that the bags were checked through so they can confirm that they have record of them.
