New to all of this!!
I travel maybe once or twice a year and currently I have 25K in Continental One Pass miles.
I'm unsure of how to apply that to a fare or how to use it, it's probably nowhere near enough to pay for a trip but is it possible to put it towards the cost of a flight?
I also have 4499 miles with USAirways who are on Star Alliance aswell, can they combine?

No, miles in different FFPs cant be combined. You should try to focus on crediting all miles to one FFP to avoid low amount in several accounts.

Welcome to Flyertalk Wilto. Jasper2009 has sound advice. You can transfer hotel points from some hotels in to CO and USAir if you have any.

You could also use the miles to get upgrades once you buy a ticket.

or look at this web page which is specific on how to use CO Onepass miles
