SIN as a base, which FFP do you choose?

From what I read here I guess the best thing to do when living in singapore is to accrue miles with LH or BD and use PPS in the hope that you will get to S$ 25'000 in 1 year.

I would be living in SIN, use mainly LH, SQ for Europe and SQ for any asia or australia destination. Longhaul in C and shorthaul in Y.

Any experience from Singaporean people? Any possibility to convert credit card points to Miles and more ? I haven't found any....
Thanks !

I used BD for miles, double dipping PPS credit to SQ. It really depends on how much longhaul you will do, since that is where you get PPS credit and the best BD accrual.

Ok. What about the service from BD ? is it good enough ? Was wondering about the call center, missing miles credit, booking award tickets. Also afaik, you cannot book C and F on 77w and a380 with sq.

Those SQ longhaul C should be credited to M&M at 200% and not DC at 150% IMO. Unless you're going above 55K on DC.

And yes mileage credit and ICC are not the 2 best features of DC.

SQ 77W and 380 seem to have a better probability of being booked via M&M.

The service was terrible with BD. I say "was" because this year I dropped BD after 3 years and moved over to LH. I still have another 100+k to burn and it hurts me to call in and endure the service! I am still up in the air about whether I should have gone with UA instead of LH.

GBM is correct about SQ longhaul C, BS has a couple of strange ones like that (AC also) that really hurt for earnings from C class).

That's what I thought. Calculation made, it seems that unless you travel only in Y, M&M makes more sense. I will be travelling longhaul in C and Asia in Y so I'll stick to Miles and More and target SEN.

Too bad they don't have a credit card in Singapore. Would be even better!

It might still make sense to get their German CC. If you can organise a German bank account than this shouldn't be too difficult.
