Asking big favor: be a DING! lookout - please help!

Hello guys,

I'm asking for a simple favor here (that will be very helpful to me). Currently, I don't have a laptop with me (shipment has been delayed), and therefore I can't constantly check ding. I am looking out for a DING! so my girlfriend can visit me @ college, especially since tickets are so expensive these days.

If you guys would be willing to let me know when this specific ding pops up and the price of the tickets (by replying to this thread which I will auto-subscribe to), I would greatly appreciate it.

So, the DING! i'm looking for is RDU (Raleigh-Durham) to BDL (Hartford) from 10/6 to 10/9.

Thanks again for all your help Rock on WN & Flyertalk!

Just updated my registration to include RDU. Nothing yet. But, if it does come up, how do you plan to book it?

Thanks so much! If a DING! does appear, I will probably run to a friends' computer, install DING! and book, and then uninstall (since those DING links don't seem to work anymore).

Once again, I appreciate it

Also check PVD fares

yalebulldog2009,

If you are located in the New Haven area (as am I), you might want to check fares out of Providence as well. It is a longer ride (90 min vs. 60), but the airport is a lot smaller than BDL and takes a lot less time to get through. The ride is a straight shot up 95.

irabk,

I am actually located in New Haven. I've thought about providence, but I don't know how to get from the airport to New Haven, (I use CTLimo service to get to/from Bradley airport) Any tips?

Thanks

From New Haven take 95 N towards Providence and keep going.... In RI, follow Airport signs. Exit 12 , I think. The airport is actually in Warwick RI

We live an equal distance from both airports but prefer PVD for ease of in and out and you miss Hartford traffic that you have to fight to get to BDL.

Have a great visit with your girlfriend!
