Every politician in America "does not plan" to run for higher office, up until the instant he or she announces.

It's the standard formulation, allowing the politician to do whatever he wants when the time comes without "lying" about it.

Same with WN.

That's the most bizarre thing I've read all day. Open seating=good seems to be the majority opinion around here, and I've never seen anyone complain at the airport. I would hardly say it is inevitable, more like wishful thinking on your part. In fact other airlines seem to be modifying their boarding plans to be closer to WN, i.e. boarding by zones or even open boarding. They are also making it harder for deep discount flyers to get advance seat assignments.

I hate to see companies tinker with a good thing. Remember "new coke"?
