Companion Pass Name Change?
Can I leave my companion for 2024 the same as is now and then I would have 3 times I can change name or if I change my companion the beginning of next year am I only allowed 2 more changes?

Yes and Yes. Your 2nd scenario is your 1st scenario while making a first change in 2024

I’ve had CP since it was first offered and do frequent name changes. Your first companion for the year is whoever uses the pass first…either your carryover companion from the previous year or a new one. You then have three changes.
