My Southwest Strategy

I always book in the Flights at the price that I want to pay. For Instance flying from Vegas to LA I found a later flight for the same cost to avoid early morning departure. From San Jose to LA a few days later I found a flight later in the afternoon to again avoid an early morning flight. I had $10 flight credits so I just paid $10 more .

This goes to show that hawkers can find better times without a big fare difference

IDK.

But I surmise, shorter flight like these have lower prices and therefore lower spreads between their best and worst time prices.

Longer trips are going to have larger spreads,

But I'm glad its working for you!

Check out the related thread…the whole 9 days in Vegas in the summer thing is crazy anyway, IMO.

Is that a Yes/No question, or multiple choice?

Thanks... I read the original post three times and not sure what it was saying.

Sure which folks could write full and explanatory posts so us idiots would understand them,

But those are all second order effects, and not to be considered when waking up early is the undesirable alternative.

"This goes to show that hawkers can find better times without a big fare difference"

Perhaps the hidden meaning lies in the definition of "hawkers?"

I noticed that as well. Clearly there is something deeper going on here. As referenced in a previous post, where's Scotty when we need him most?
