Thanks for posting! I re-booked a couple of flights that I need to take, saved a little $ on one and will earn double points on both.

Link didn't work for me or Mrs. B...

Never mind, have to be logged into account or you get an error message...

Question: If you change your current flight to a new flight (e.g. a month later) does that count as a new booking? Or do you have to cancel your itinerary and use TTF?

Previously, it was always necessary to cancel/rebook. I believe the main qualifier is that the booking have a new PNR, created within the applicable time frame. Not sure if anything has changed in these uncertain times.

NOBODY knows for sure. Some times a promo says for only new flights and then it does on old. You just never know.

Personally, if it does not cost anything - cancel the old and then book new.

That's what I did, it didn't take much time to do.

Since this uncertainty has started I have avoided cancelling any of my flights most of which have been rescheduled.
If your flight was rescheduled and you cancel and re-book you many lose the ability to get a full refund.
If you get a full refund to your original form of payment, book a new flight and later want to cancel, you may be stuck with travel funds.
Of course if your booked via points you get those back anyway.
It's something to think about given the uncertainty in the air.
I'm taking all of the refunds I can get. I have plenty of points and travel funds. I can always use cash.

With this 2X points bonus + A List Preferred 2X bonus, does a Business select fare of ~ $250 yielding ~ 3,000 RR points (per the booking chart) produce 3,000 x2 x2 = ~12,000 points?

not so sure about that.

last time they ran a double points promo it was 3000+3000+3000 so 9000 total (for an A-List Preferred.)

Hope to be proven wrong.

I stand corrected, historically these sorts of things would "add", not "multiply"

Thanks! You refreshed my memory of a prior 2X promotion.

One RT in business select will solidify my CP through 2021. Of course it's a bit silly to be in BS now, given the light loads.

From the small print:
Bonus points will not count toward A-List, A-List Preferred, or Companion Pass qualification.

This is why I read FT (but not any fine print). Thanks!

Generally these things work:

12x BS
12x bonus
12x A-List preferred

Sometimes you can find a way to get a SWABIZ bonus on top.

Buy with WN GCs purchased at Kroger (4x Amex MR plus fuel points, roughly 20% off), make it a deductible business trip, and it's free (or better).
