Two separate account, 1 companion on both?

Hi, I wasn't able to find this info on google, or on this thread yet (maybe it's my poor googling).

But I got a friend that I want to add as a companion with my trip to see her friend in the bay area. The problem is 2 fold. She's already a companion on her husband's southwest account & trip is 3 weeks out.

Is it possible to add her as a companion and than add her to my trip? I'm not sure if she is able to get the companion card in time, and etc. Or that she even qualify since she's already someone's else companion in their account. She live in 3-4 hours away so it'll be pretty bad if we try to get her but denied at the gate or entry.

Thanks

Good question, but can't think of any reason why one person can't be the companion for multiple companion holders. Don't even know if there's any language about this in the Ts & Cs.

And don't worry about the card; it doesn't mean anything.

Cool. Thanks. Will let know and have her decide. Good thing about the companion card too.

I read the T&C and it mention nothing about a companion being in multiple companion holder. Plus, when you enter companion info, it ask for pretty generic information (not RR #, etc).

What happens when you try?

Does it work?

Does she drop off the other person?

I'm almost positive that I've read about a pair of CP holding parents who both list the same child as their companion. I don't imagine it'd be a problem.

As soon as you add the companion to your account you can book flights right away.

I have done this. The same family member was a companion for 2 different CP holders at the same time.
