... for the aircraft's flight-control surfaces, silly! "Fly by Wireless" is sooo much cooler than "Fly by Wire"!

Good to see they've got 5GHz networks aboard, too. (I hadn't noticed 'till now 'cause I keep a battery-operated box that NATs the "SouthwestWiFi" for me so I can login once then use my phones and tablet while aboard, and its "WAN" (and LAN) end is 2.4GHz only).

With external authentication, too ... I wonder if the 802.1x server is on the plane or on the Internet (perhaps authenticated while still on the ground)?
