Seriously Scotty?

How about posting some facts with sources/links to back up your rumors?

Scotty, I am seriously impressed that you have advanced to cracking jokes based on movies. If only our FF programs had improved as much as your written word skills have over that time! But they operate in reverse.

Back on topic, I seem to recall that JetBlue decided that E190's were not doing well for them. I forget why.

I thought everyone on a.net was busy searching for the secret exit from their mothers' basements.

You mean, the thread that starts out: "RUMOR: WN And E190", and with an entire conversation that never proves itself?

Again...rumor. And really not even that great of one.

Seriously, the question in the a.net thread is posted "what does an e190 bring that a 737 doesn't"

Fuel economy on short hops? Is it better to run a 737 40 seats empty vs the cost of adding a new type?
Anywhere an e190 can go a 737 can go. Hell, 737s can land on grass.

Now what would be awesome is if WN did an hourly milk run. San-sna-bur-fat-skt-oak-sts and back.

Given that it's been years since I sat on a WN flight with 40 seats empty, I would expect that if WN were going to take on the significant operational costs of adding a second aircraft type to their fleet they would add something bigger. Possibly something with slightly longer range, too, to improve their ability to fly transcontinental, Caribbean, and... Hawaiian... routes.
