So this is pretty awful, and speaks really more to the numerous problems with our justice system, but I wonder if this might finally cause her to reconsider or change her behavior?

I think it shows more the problems with our ability to deal with the mentally ill. Since the great deinstitutionalization of the mentally ill we are left with few tools to deal with chronically mentally ill who don't or won't take care of themselves. Ms. Hartman was apparently attacked by another inmate with mental issues of their own. Apparently neither should be in jail but if either were placed in a mental health facility and could be made competent with medication (as Ms. Hartman apparently can be) they would get released and likely go off their medication, as Ms Hartman apparently did while residing in a a group home or halfway house. The same issue affects many chronically homeless people. As a result a high proportion of people held in jails have mental illness.

Yes, that is problem. She doesn't like to stay in jail forever. She should be in mental health facility. She won't change her behavior. She already take her medication.

Yes, as long if she behave well. She have to stay away from any Chicago's airports. She must listen to the judges. She can not be off her ankle monitoring bracelets. She must stay on her ankle monitoring.

She back on the news again. She went to the court by last month, but Marilyn's court hearing was delayed after judge who had a tests positive COVID19. A new court date is on December 4, 2020.

Well! She back on the news again. She interview with the news reporter on the phone conversation. She will accept apologize to TSA and the airlines. I did listen the news. She got 30 times incident. She sneak on the plane before. She went to Europe and UK.

Okay guys, just came in.

She went to the court today at noon. She is currently being held without bond. She return to Cook County jail. She managed escape from Safe Haven yesterday. She sneaks out of mental health. She must be secured mental health after she escape from facility. She was charged with felony escape and criminal trespass.

No, she won't do that again. She will not sneaks on the plane anymore. She had to stay away from any Chicago's airports. This time she got arrested again in a few days ago. She snucks out of Safe Haven and then she rode on Blue Line to O'Hare. I found out how she got on the rail. She didn't pay fare.

I'm struggling to see the real threat or crime here other than expending a ton of government resources and money trying to reign in an obliviously mentally impaired person. Theft of services of an otherwise empty seat? More of an embarrassment to TSA and the operations of airlines she was able to board.

Anyone can "get by" TSA with a fully refundable ticket. Then sneak down the Jetway of a non empty flight past a distracted / inattentive / indifferent gate Agent. Then hide in the bathroom until "the count" is finished (assuming those are even done). A real skill would be to get on a particular flight to particular destination rather than scoping out a random flight opportunity. I have to wonder how many times she was "caught" going into the Jetway, played an old confused grandmother act and was let go. Or perhaps showed a fully refundable BP to another flight and was pointed in that direction only to try again.

If anything, the world would be better served by tailing her as she exploits the weakness. Or hire her a part of a plea bargain ala Frank Abagnale...
