Best time to book after new schedule comes out

Best time to book after new schedule comes out
When is the best time to book award tickets after the new schedule comes out on Monday? Do the prices ever drop or is the first price the best price?

I will be traveling the week before Thanksgiving. I will be getting 3 tickets with points, one with a companion pass and one will be a paid ticket.

Book as soon as you see the flight you want, and then keep a regular watch on the fares. If there is a fare reduction, you can easily refare and get a points refund to your RR account, without any penalty. If you have already booked the companion, though, you will first have to cancel the companion booking attached to the paid/points booking, prior to changing the paid/points booking.

Hi, I'm from Asia and am planning to book Southwest's tickets for Nov travel, may I know when their Nov tickets would be available for booking??

The schedule is slotted to open on May 19th.

Monday May 19th.

The new schedule extension is generally loaded by 5-6am Central Time.

Right! They will be release next schedule extension on Monday morning at 10am CST.

Bumping...last time it was 7 am EST, 6 AM CST. Any thoughts for the morning?

Now, because you can always change - particularly if you want Thanksgiving fares, as they're only likely to go up
