How strict/ relaxed are Southwest about Size & Weight of Checked & Carry-On Baggage?

So, I moved denser stuff to the carry on (heavy). Then got both bags down to 49 lbs just to be safe.

There were no Curb side agents out at SJC? I wonder why? I did reach 2 hrs prior to flight.

Inside, one bag was 49.5 and another measured at 52 lbs. Wierd. Agent was kind enough to let it pass. Happy Holidays!

Yeah, that's how it works at MDW in my experience.
