Jax-RSW

I'm trying to get my non-driving aunt from Jacksonville (St Augustine) to RSW (Sanibel) in mid October. I'm not finding any good options. Any thoughts?

The short answer is not by plane. WN flies TPA-JAX or RSW-MCO both of which only get you part of the way there; if you don't mind driving I75 WN has a number of dailies JAX-FLL. You might want to look at Amtrak JAX-TPA and see if they have connecting bus service from the TPA Amtrak station to the RSW area. Never forget there is always Greyhound.

Take a look at Fare Compare. I tried JAX to Ft. Myers and came up with some ok options right away (like AA hubbing through Miami for about $400). I'm not sure you'll be able to find cheaper prices than that - but you might if you spend some time looking through all your options there. Robyn

Thanks, for the help. My Aunt has decided that it is too far for her to travel and she doesn't want to change planes. My wife suggested she just use her broom. Ahh, family.
