OT, but I wonder why the thread title reminds me of a close friend of yours ... :D

Is your last sentence intended to chill discussion, albeit nonflattering, of AA facilities or airports that AA serves? While this post does not merit a sticky, it might be helpful for an FTer considering whether to fly into JAX or use another airport and drive.

If it was it didn't seem to work. I am off to the airport tomorrow with my laser measuring device to see about those ceilings. I really suspect ceiling height and erroneous claims of distance won't defer people from flying into JAX if in fact they have to go to JAX. Vs. say, ATL or MSY and then driving that distance you had to walk.

How can I worry about punctuation at a time like this? The ceilings at JAX are low. They're low I tell ya. Lower than Penn Station! Aaaarrrrggggghhhh!

At first glance I thought the thread was her trip report from JAX... and that she'd gone there without telling me. :)

Wouldn't that have been SUX-JAX?

Are you sure we're not talking about JAX beer and the ceiling in your head after having drunk them (years ago). I'm not a novice traveler and I can't figure out what's wrong with the JAX airport. Security wasn't bad and gate area was better than many. Am I missing the point, or did the Jax 40 years ago cause brain damage?

Yeah, but remember she never could write near as good as me and you can.

I must stick to my poor opinion of JAX as an AA consumer. I am, furthermore, confused by the multiple defenses of a 35 year old cramped, dank and filthly little terminal C. One, I repeat, that has an unduly low ceiling and a brew pub run by Miller.

Unfortunate souls sentenced to use this facility should be aware of these facts and what I firmly believe are reasonable and objective opinions.

Truth be told, I've never figured out in 7 years what the Quick Reply thingie is or does. Seriously.

Yes, I meant what he meant. But on further thought I think it will neither deter them nor defer them. So actually, I meant what he said and what he meant.

It helps one to reply more quickly.
