Key West - Lodging for a Group
Hi,
Can someone please tell me where is the best place to stay in key west? We're a group of 9 and of course, we're looking for a great deal.
Thanks,

Skip KW. Do an AI in Cancun. Lots of choices in all price ranges.

I would look at renting a house or a b&b for that amount of people. Closer to Duval St. the better. Further, the cheaper.
There should be lots of agencies that rent out houses. If you are not looking to drink a lot, you could stay on a key further up the chain and drive into Key West.

Completely different experience. I would take Key West over Cancun any day.

When are you going? You could run into minimum stays, esp. if you try to go during something like Fantasy Fest...

Let me know when Cuban cigars are sold in KW for a buck per stick.

I guess I missed the part where the OP was looking to buy cigars.

My example was "a great deal" available in CUN. I guess I missed yours in defense of KW.

Friends of mine wanted to go for Fantasy Fest this year. That is one weekend I would rather not be in Key West. We're going mid October instead. Staying st the Pier House which really isn't a bargain. Last time I was there we stayed at the Hyatt ... again, not a bargain. B7B suggestion is probably the best.

What is your budget? Will you have cars? What time of year?
Hard to give recommendations without a bit of further info.
