Good walking beach
I need help in finding another area of Florida that has hard packed sand good for long walks.
In the past, I have always gone to New Smyrna Beach (just south of DAB), as the sand is great for walking. I have been to PNS and FLL, and while the beaches are beautiful, the soft sand makes walking too much of an exercise.
I was just in DAB, and the hurricanes have really eroded the beaches in this area. NSB must be at low tide to have any exposed beach at all. DAB is not much better.
I have done a web search, and have come up with crecent beach on Siesta Key on the gulf coast side. I don't know if this area has had beach erosion.
But if anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate your help in finding a replacement area for beach walking.

Siesta Key is very nice .. I don't know about beach erosions.
Naples beaches are fine too, almost no erosions. Some got even some more, like Barefoot Beach in North Naples.

I've always liked walking on Satilite Beach and Melbourne Beach. They're a little ways south of New Smyrna along A1A. I've only been down there once since all of the Hurricanes hit and I didn't get a chance to go out beachside except once and I was on Vero Beach for dinner..so I only saw a little erosion. I just read an article on floridatoday.com about people finding lots of treasure near Vero Beach on the other treasure coast beaches from where the hurricanes eroded so much.. so those might be worth walking on
