Are staying in Miami for a week and want to know what's near Miami?
Definitly go to the Everglades for a day.
You can always head down to the Keys and have a look at them.
Are you driving from Miami to Phl to catch your flight? It will be a very, very long drive if so.

I read one trip report here. For Miami, I basically know what to do. But I think about going any place which is fun for family for another week. Thanks.
I will fly to MIA and then drive to another place around to Miami for another week and from MIA fly back home.

You can always head over to the Naples area. Nice beaches ect... Then there is always Orlando and the theme parks. The Tampa area has attractions and Busch Gardens. It really depends on what type of activity you are looking for. Beaches, theme parks, fishing ect....

The harbor cruises that leave next to the mall by the basketball arena are a good deal.
