NYC-MIA in mid June

NYC-MIA in mid June
Hello,
I am looking for a flight from NYC airports to MIA but for now they are all expensive.
JetBlue has the same price of AA which seems the only convient from JFK to MIA.
I see also round trip from other airports (PBI and FLL) but they are even more expensive than MIA.
I know the 737 of AA it is a little older anyway now with covid-19 is it easy to exit from MIA airport or you have to wait a long ?
Another thing I am little scared about is the traffic because it is my first time that I rent a car in MIA. What do you think ?
