BTR help
Due to the US Airways hop.skip, jump promo, I will be spending a night and a day in BTR.
Arrving 9:30pm on Sat night and leaving at 6PM Sunday night.
I probably will go right to sleep but have the day to spend on Sunday. I am thinking I will find a sports bar and watch the NFL.
If I'm having a few beers on Sunday, I would rather not rent a car. Any reccomendations for a good place to watch games and a cheap place to stay. Also ground transportation reccomendations.
Hopefully things are close together so I do not spend a fortune on cabs.
Thanks

You need to book your hotel room NOW. If you are talking about this coming Saturday, it is the first home game for LSU football and it may be difficult to get a decent hotel room if you wait until later in the week.
I just checked the Holiday Inn Baton Rouge College Drive - I-10 (new property) and you can get a room for around $110. This property also has a Sporting News Grill which will have plenty of TVs. Also within walking distance (across the parking lot) of Ninfa's Mexican Restaurant.
