Miami security wait time

Flying out of Miami tomorrow at 5:30pm and have no idea as how long to expect to wait in security line... (Couldn't find any recent threads). Is there a premium line? Thanks!

Plan on a good long time...at least 30 mins

At the UA security line there is an initial "premium/elite" short cut.

However, it soon funnels into a single line when you get near the TSA podium ID/boarding pass check.

As if the bag check TSA folks weren't slow enough..there are now full body scanners which seem to further bog down an already slow process

I almost always fly AA out of MIA, and there is a priority line. I've waited anywhere from 15 minutes to over an hour. It really is a crap shoot. Also, there's usually a healthy walk to your gate. I suggest you get there with plenty of time (at least an hour).

OP, are you flying UA, AA or what airline. Good advise for AA. But the AA concourse is getting better.
