Another Explora Lodge question
Did those people who have stayed at the Explora in Torres del Paine find that, to paraphrase one poster, it caters to "middle-aged Americans who are afraid to travel independently"?
I'm going there because it seems like a nice place to go to. I'm not middle-aged. Now I'm worried

Well, it clearly caters to the well-heeled, given the price, and since the well-heeled often tend to be on the older side... If you are going to Patagonia to hike (and there's not really too much else to do there), and you like the idea of having a guide, you could look into trips offered by outfitters such as Above the Clouds , Geographic Expeditions, and Wilderness Travel, to name a few.
