Easter Travel to Chile?

I'm planning a spring break travel, the week starting from Easter Sunday. It seems too much hassle to visit Europe (Spain and Italy). So I look to visit South America instead. I know Easter is still big in South America, but may not be as big as in Spain etc. How do you guys think?

Yes, Easter Sunday will be a commercially closed and quiet day. But you should be able to find open restaurants and if not, the hotel restaurants will be functioning. Monday will be back to normal except remember that museums, many restaurants and fish markets are traditionally closed on that day.
