Border formalities intra SA flights

As I am planning a trip to Peru,Brazil,Chile and Argentina, I am interested to know generally how time consuming are the trans border immigration checks

eg Argentine to Brazilian side at Iguazo Falls , flying from Ushuaia thru AEP onto Sao Paulo, arrivalat Lima airport from EZE.

I understand there can be bad days but just want an indication so I can plan connections.

Well pretty breezy easy at Iguazu. LIM is normal. But as you say, always variables.
