New to Skyteam rewards
Hi all
I am new to this site and after a little advice please. I have a Platinum Flying Blue membership card with KLM / Air France / Skyteam.
In May I want to travel from Portland, Oregon, USA back to Newcastle, England for one week with my wife & two children. However everytime I check availability online NOTHING is there ! Am I doing something wrong ? I think Northwest will be the best carrier and I know they are part of the Skyteam group.
Should I contact them directly ? How can I use over 250,000 airmiles to get back to the UK in 6 months time ? Any advice very much appreciated

Use Northwest's web site at http://res.nwa.com to search for flights using "search by WorldPerks Award". Find flights that show as having "PerkSaver" availability in the class you want. Use the calendar function if the dates you want aren't available. When you have found flights that work, then you have to call Air France-KLM on the phone and have them ticket it. Northwest's web site is useful for searching availability but only Air France-KLM can ticket it using Flying Blue miles. But generally speaking, if the flights show available as "PerkSaver" on Northwest's web site, they should also be available to Air France-KLM reservation agents.

NW/CO/DL are all possible for PDX. Try and call, since multi-airline itineraries cannot be booked online. Check also www.continental.com for availability.
