Any ideas. Leaving from Columbus, Ohio.
When, and best how?
Pretty much everything is a double connect because you have to get from CMH to a hub. That being said, there are flights from AMS, CDG, NRT, SVO and ICN. Pick a carrier you want to fly on and earn miles through and a routing and book it.

MXP was left off that list above as a conection point. Also DL will start ATL-PVG next month, so that will be a single connect to PVG for most of us west of the rockies.
To the OP, your question is impossible to really answer without more information.
What is your goal in determining the "best route" for you? Everyone on this board has a different opinion on the best route for them.
1: Are you flying Business or Economy? (or Premium Economy on CZ)
2: Are you looking to maximize miles or do you want the shortest time?
3: Which Skyteam frequent flyer plan will you use, your profile shows DL, but that that might not be what you have in mind for this trip? (could make a huge difference in Economy)
4: What elite level are you with the above airline?
If you answer those questions you will be able to get a much more meaninful answer from some of us.
