Thanks for the verification. That means no SkyTeam RTW tickets at all ex-CMB or ex-MLE, though as I hammer out the details for the "World Traveller" RTW tickets ex-MLE and CMB, I'll still post since many of the involved airlines are SkyTeam partners and there is no dedicated forum for alternative RTW tickets, be they "World Traveller," Great Escapade, or others. Right now I'm having difficulty contacting the KL/NW GSA in MLE, but once I get them I'll post their contact details. I'm also working directly with MH in MLE to get prices and rules for their RTW tickets, which they said I should get in two days. When (or if) I get those I'll post them.
Cheers, Robert

The drama continues
The Malaysia Airlines GSA in Male' Maldives verified with their Colombo main office and no RTW fares for 2008 (through them) from MLE.
Their contact details:
Malaysia Airlines
GSA - Maldives
Villa Travels & Tours (Pvt) Ltd.
H. Sifa, 1/12 Boduthakurufaanu Magu
Male' 20094, Republic of Maldives
Tel. +00 960 333 2555
Fax +00 960 333 6968
Email: [email protected]
I am still trying to get ahold of the one agent for the KL/NW/AF GSA in Maldives. I've already given their details, but here is the email I have as well (though, warning, I've yet to receive a response, but she's supposed to be at work tomorrow so I'm hoping to get her on the phone then):

Sorry for the delays
Well, sorry all for the delays. The MLE ticketing agents are incompetent re: RTW tickets. The one agent that could price things for me didn't get back to me for a few days so I called and found out she's now on vacation for 10 days. Nevermind I was trying to leave fairly recently!
So, I'll keep researching this RTW ticket, but it will be different than my original plans because now I am just going to by a direct ticket MLE-MNL and use reward miles to go MNL-GUM.
I'll worry about a RTW ticket later as it is just taking too much time and turning out to be too expensive from MLE or CMB on World Traveller (now that Skyteam is not possible from MLE or CMB).
I'll post what I do find out about pricing later.
A couple questions I had that perhaps people can help me answer here are regarding Continental Micronesia flights. Traditionally, the flights MNL-ROR-YAP-GUM and GUM-TKK-PNI-KSA-KWA-MAJ-HNL only have mileage counted as the direct flights MNL-GUM and GUM-HNL respectively. Does anyone know if this is the same for a RTW ticket? Normally I'd be complaining about losing miles but actually losing several hundred miles helps making certain thresholds.
Cheers all & ciao4now, Robert

MH RTW fares are definitely loaded into the CRS ex MLE and CMB. I am perplexed why they will not ticket it.
The cost in USD for the 3 grades (30k/35k/40k) ex MLE are:
$2747
$3041
$3494
For business class:
$6036
$6949
$8151
This comes from Expert Flyer, which comes from Sabre. Perhaps you need to find a local agent who uses Sabre, and then have them press MH directly?
