Skyteam airlines to TIP (Tripoli, Libya)

Looks like three ST members fly there. AZ, KL and SU.

Are there anyone else? Particularly FB partners?

TIP is served by very few foriegn carriers, resulting in pricing hegemony. Fare quoted on ST carriers from India are insane.

Which should be the best option amongst these three? (ex BOM)

Hi there,

Without any dates, it's hard to say anything ... but have you tried ITA Software? (http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/prego)

They have a very good search engine, so you will be able to see what's available.

Cheers,

GenevaFlyer

AF? I looked up in ITA on a month long search. It seems AF is not flying directly to TIP. Can you give me schedules ex CDG if it exists? Thanks.

Of course they don't. They just place their code on KL flight from Amsterdam

Just buy a ticket India-Italy, then a separate one for the short hop (either on AZ or Afriqiyah) to Libya.

If the guy is in BOM I wouldnt wish the ancient AZ 767 BOM-MXP on my worst enemy. NW BOM-AMS is on a new A330 these days (after years and years of a horrible old DC10). After that, yes, KL or Afriqiyah or whatever to TIP.

KLM and AF fly to India with more modern equipment (though I wouldn't really have an issue with economy on the 767). Tickets to TIP are cheaper from Italy than other places, that's why I suggested going to IT.
