The "alliances" button is still on their web page, but it is indeed broken. What used to be there was a short description of Skyteam and the benefits that would accrue to Air Europa passengers.

The Air Europa link was working last night and early this morning. Maybe you should give it another try later.

When I flew Copa yesterday, I asked about the Skyteam membership, and the agent said it was their official sign up day, that day, Sept 1st.

I just looked again and did find a working link on the AirEuropa site. Try this one. Of course, it is the same link but it just looks like it is working again. Who knows.

Link working again... looks like they added the Skyteam links at the top and the bottom, otherwise looks the same as when I posted it the other day.

the crew making the announcement 'welcome to this air europa, an associate member of the skyteam alliance, flight' was a bit of a mouthful on this afternoon's flight.

note that the lack of updates to ST website co-incides with France being on holiday all month.. so let's expect a catch up soon hopefully

And I would suspect that nothing has changed in the US in terms of Skyteam signage with the Labor Day weekend...

It looks like the Skyteam website will have a press release on this soon. There's a sentence announcing the new associate members, but the link to the story doesn't work yet.
