ITA is showing some horrible routings on AF, like going from CDG to BCN and then to SVQ often with an overnight layover.
Or you fly into CDG and then go ORY-SVQ in under 2.5 hours.
If I go from SFO to BCN or MAD via CDG, it's under 15 hours each way. But try to go to SVQ and the return is 25 sometimes 31 hours because of the routing and overnight layovers!
Probably make more sense just to fly in and out of MAD or BCN and take the train to SVQ?

looks like AF/KL don't fly to SVQ. To be fair, neither does BA or LH. It's only air lingus on OW, spanair on *A or air europa on ST. I'm guessing the air europa schedule doesn't have good connections from CDG..

Yeah I was reading up since I made this thread.
Even Iberia routes you through MAD so to SFO, it's around 20 hours each way (compared to less than 15 if you're going to MAD or BCN).
Looks like one option would be to fly into MAD and buy a separate ticket on Iberia or look into trains.
I would have thought SVQ is at least the third biggest destination for Spain so it would route from the big hubs.
