Alitalia concerns

I flew with Alitalia for the first time last week between Rome and Nice. We were never given a safety demonstration. I am unfamiliar with MD aircraft, so did a quick visual to locate exits.
Went to use the toilet and put the mechanism into "lock" mode. With my bottom anchored safely on seat and skirt down to my ankles, door flung open by fellow passenger. We both screamed.
Never ever will I fly with them again. Should I write a letter?

The lack of safety demonstration I'm surprised about- I don't recall them ever missing it.

Unfortunately, the broken lav door isn't too surprising; I've run into the opposite, with pax getting locked in and the FA had to work to open it and release them.

If you write, be sure to include the exact flight number and time so they can track which crew and aircraft. I doubt you'll get a response, but try writing anyway. They need to fix this stuff.

BTW, AZ specific topics normally go in the Other European Frequent Flyer Programs rather than in the SkyTeam forum.
