Which Skyteam FF for non-frequent Eco Traveller?

I am a almost loyal *A customer. But now I have found an incredible fare on delta.com to travel ZRH-CDG-ORD-NYC-CDG-ZRH on AirFrance (except for CHI-NYC). Classes on longhaul are U and D.

As I understand FlyingBlue would not give me a lot of miles on these classes. Does anybody know of a good programme that gives me 100% credit and therefore a chance for redemption (assuming another such flight over the next years)?

Thanks for any hints,
Reteli

I would have a look at Czech Airlines and at Alitalia.

The main problem with Alitalia is that you don't get what you are supposed to get. I flow 50'000 miles within three weeks and didn't get the silver bonus nor is my account upgrade to gold. There are also no membercard shipped despite the fact that I signed up for the program a few months ago. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=623145

PS: What kind of increadible fare did you get (date and source)? Please PM

But this is a DL fare on AF metalm which makes a difference. You have to look at the operating carrier, not just the ticketing carrier. If you are crediting to CO, you get 50% EQM/100% RDM of a DL U fare on AF metal. You get 150% EQM/150% RDM for a DL D fare on AF metal. Actually, the D fare is business class, so you should also get a big, comfy seat to go with it.

If you ar crediting to FB, it looks like you're again at 50%/100% for the U/D fares, respectively.

If you were to get an OK Plus card (CSA) you'd get 200% miles for the D class ticket and 100% for the U class on Delta flights.

Czech Airline OK Plus Partner Mileage levels

And you'll get 2000 miles for signing up.

As told by the previous poster I would also recommend OK Plus. Miles never expire as long as there is some kind of activity at least every third years. Also they only care about ticketed carrier, meaning I've earnt miles on AF coded flights operated by both OS and AY. Plus they are very fast in responding to emails.

Nope, you have to look at the ticketed carrier, NOT the operating carrier. This is FB logic! So as stated before, this will earn full miles on FB.

And there are exceptions to this. NW-ticketed AS-operated flights don't give qualifying miles on FB.

I can't see that the OP has any AS segments yes, this is only true for Skyteam operated flights.

You might consider Alaska's Mileage Plan. Not SkyTeam but as long as you stick with KL, AF, NW, CO and DL, you get miles though not all are qualifying (not important if you are never going to earn elite status). It also has the added flexibility of being able to earn miles on various OW airlines such as BA, AA, CX, LA and QF. Just watch which fares on which carriers earn what % miles. Cheap fares on BA earn 25% universally.
