Why No Skyteam "Blended" Livery

By now, most of us have seen the Star Alliance blended aircraft designs which are a combination of various Star liveries. Why have the ST carriers never attempted (as far as I know) similar blended designs on their aircraft?

I'm actually quite happy that they haven't gone that route. Every time I see a Star Alliance livery I'm struck by how stupid it looks.

Yeah but you noticed it didn't you?

Actually Star doesn't use the blended livery anymore, they use the euro-white one with the black tail with the Star Alliance on it.

Because AF wouldn't want to sully their beautiful white european aircraft with trashy American brands

Joking aside, I'm glad they haven't gone that route. I think the SkyTeam logo, discreetly featured on each aircraft near the boarding door, is a lot more elegant.

Actually...they do, sorta.

Last night I flew from SVO to OVB on SU. While riding the bus out to the SU flight, a TU-154 with the SkyTeam emblem now on the side ^ , a guy standing near me said, "hey look at that. Continental and Aeroflot both have their names on that plane." I did a double take to see if the snow was in his eyes or something. Turns out he was kinda right. The SU plane he saw also had "Continential Airways" written on it. I did not bother to correct him not knowing whether he was kidding or not. A guy who had been in the Biz Class lounge was also on the bus and kinda snickered but that was that.

So, at least on the night of November 14, at SVO1, some SkyTeam livery of one sort or another was indeed on a plane.

Now back to the real world!

Continental Airways (PC) was at one time the largest operator on Russia's holiday charter market. Was what you guys saw an ex-PC aircraft which hadn't been repainted in SU livery yet? (IIRC, SU wanted to buy the entire PC fleet, don't know if they did).
