Upgrading Skyteam Airlines
I tried search but search isn't working. Is there a reason why Skymiles does not offer upgrade awards on Skyteam airlines? Is this a potential area for "enhancement?" Is there any way to move miles around (e.g. to CO or NW) in order to get upgrade awards out of NRT?

Yes, and they know it. *A has again set the standards with their alliance-wide upgrade program that has been put in place between most *A carriers.

No way to move miles from one program to another without losing most of its value. That's where SPG points come in really handy.... or the Coupon Connection.

Apart from that:
- DL miles upgrade DL flights + AF flights (if DL-coded) between the US and CDG
- AF miles upgrade AF flights + KL flights + NW flights
- CO miles upgrade CO flights + KL flights + NW flights
- NW miles upgrade NW flights + KL flights + CO flights
