skyteam.com USELESS
So why doesn't skyteam invest in it's useless website....
Even the route maps are missing Tokyo as one of it's main hubs (NW) and Memphis....

The downloadable skyteam timetable program from the website is extremely helpful. I've used it when missing connections to select the routing which I want, and also to search possible routing for future travel.

Add to the wierd things with that website - its lack of info for flights and too much info for flights. No distances which come in handy when planning RTW's. And listing the same flight under the codeshare flight # and listing flights operated by non-scary team members like VS.

i think alliances should all have engines allowing them to sell their own tickets. id love to do some city pairings, that a ST only search engine could build for me.
for example, id love to do something like msy-eze-syd-msy (with connections obviously), but cant find anything remotly ST on other engines.
they may not even exist, but it would still be nice.
they show all these hundreds and hundres of cities, but many cannot easily be booked anywhere.

I agree, it should be able to sell tickets....something like an orbitz like program that can search out lots of combos over lots of reservation systems and come up with the best ST fares/times/connections....
It would give the alliance some revenue, as well as keep all the flights in ST which would be good for the members....

i just think, it would be great to go to ST.com and check any random itin and that the best possible arrangement would come up. regardless of routings, times or airlines.
even though we have ST, each airline only has access to certain other's inventory (especially when related to revenue inventory). it useless to me.
it seems like its rather easy to do it with miles. call your main airline, then have them route you where ever you want on whatever partner you want and as long as the seats are open, the trip can be made.
no such easy thing when trying to book revenue.
anyway, GET A BOOKING ENGINE DAMN IT, with ST airlines only.
