Read the sticky on the top of this forum. It is all about the RTW trips, both paid and reward. I know that the last 30 or so postings cover a lot of details on the reward options (I posted several of them).

Just like all award travel reservations, you need to be flexible. And the agents aren't going to do the work for you to find the options unless they're really nice or you ask really nice.
What are your approximate dates and destinations? Maybe some folks here could help you out...

So I have been on saturday in a big Air france store to buy 2 travels, because no award possibility and told the agent about flying blue. She said she will try again.
I want to fly from CDG to YUL,LIM,SFO,NRT,SYD,ICN,SIN,CDG between 14th July and 15th august
I'll pay for a RTW4 business and want an award ticket for a friend.
With no award, I have to pay the same price for two tickets, and they are reserved, but in economy... hoping for few upgrades because of Platinum FB...

Doing some very basic searching, I am seeing availability from YUL-LIM-SFO-NRT on the CO site. Many of these flights are actually NW operated, but they are all OK in the RTW award world. SYD will be tough, and will require flying KE via ICN, but it may be possible.
Happy travels.
