RTW ST Routing Help

Hi All!

I am not sure if this is the right place to post it, but let's try anyway...

I need to plan the following routing and would like to do it as a RTW ST ticket although I have my doubts if this is possible. My travel agent loves *A (although I don't). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TLV - SIN
SIN - CKG
CKG - KIX
KIX - US (ALB initially and then some flying around US)
US (unknown as of yet, but likely NYC) - SVQ
SVQ - MAD
MAD - TLV

I don't even know if ST flies to all these destinations...

All the best,
Arie

The sticky thread in the skyteam forum "RTW on skyteam?" should be very useful with some rules and info in general.

As for the routing I would say it is possible with skyteam airlines but you will have to connect for some of the routes you post.

If you intend to book a biz RTW, you might also want to look into the KL/NW/CO and partners (e.g. AS/MH/EK/MA/SA) RTW which is different from the skyteam RTW. It is e.g. booked in C and not Z sub-class (=better availability) and intra-US flights are booked in F instead of eco. This ticket would be cheapest ex BKK, current fares are about:

biz 30k miles 3800
biz 35k miles 4400
biz 40k miles 5100

This special RTW may be discontinued sooner or later.

Thanks a lot for this information - I had no idea that KLM had its own RTW program. This program seems to have better China coverage (they even make it to CKG) so it could be a good possibility. It's a pity they don't include AF - that would make life much easier...
