Funny situation in Berlin SkyTeam Lounge
hi,
I am currently (sep9th, 9.30am) inside the SkyTeam Lounge at TXL and I just wanted to share this with you:
Just after the CO flight to EWR and the AF flight to CDG have been announced, the lounge emptied. I was the only passenger left, since I got one more houre to spend.
All of a sudden a senior citizen, easyly in his 80's, came into the lounge and asked the nice ladz at he desk if he could flz with AF to Canada. She smiled and looked up a few flights in her computer. He then said:
"It's really nice in here and very quiet. I might just sit down for a few minutes". He gets himself a newspaper and some coffe and sits down.
The lady looked really confused but handeled the situation very professional. Since I am the only other passenger in here, she might thought to just let him sit here for a minute and enjoy his coffee.
He leaves after a few minutes and says: "Thanks a lot for the help and ...where is the AF ticket office???".
So by being just nice and polite she might have sold an AF ticket to Canada... :-)
I just thought that might be worth sharing with you....

berlinflyer, this is a heart warming story, but it really is not DL related. Honestly I don't know the proper board to place it on, so for the interim I am locking it. I will discuss the matter with the other moderators as to where to place it.
