Skyteam Pricing

Hi All!
It seems I've put all my eggs in one basket with regards to FFPs and only have status on ST (3 times over, but never mind)... I have an upcoming trip:

TLV-GRU-NYC-TLV slated for June and July. I have tried pricing it with beta.itasoftware.com, and have gotten the lowest business class fare all with *A using LH/UA/LH. Is there any tool available that can help me search according to alliances and not airlines?

Thanks in advance for any help...

All the best,
Arie

No, but the ita software allows you to restrict the search to specified airlines. Limit your search to all ST airlines and there you have it.

You end up with a lot of M&M miles for that trip, and even more if you can find a two class UA flight.

Also, just try Orbitz, and see what appears. Play with various NYC airports, the price changes.

I can't seem to find where I can specify airlines in ITA - also Orbitz won't even look for a ticket for me starting from Tel Aviv... It is a pity that the alliances themselves don't have a joint schedule/price site or app.

After looking at LH's website, it might be time to try them out as I may be going regularly between TLV and GRU - it is interesting that they have a whole different outlook on how to run a FFP it would seem. It makes it very hard to try and compare...

Basically, you need to type :: AZ,AM,AF,KL,OK,NW,DL,CO,KE+ in the To and From fields (+ stands for one or more flights; feel free to omit any ST member that is unlikely to fly the route)

Thanks a ton apoivre! That was very useful information and the link is perfect for getting into the nitty gritty of expressions. Now the problem is price - there is a difference of over $3000 between *A and ST... I will try and include a few other partners of KL / DL and see what I can come up with pricewise...

Take care and thanks again!
