Best Skyteam Lounge at JFK

Next month I will be traveling ATL-VCE via JFK on Delta in Business Elite. From the way I understand it, I would be allowed to use any of the SkyTeam lounges. Is that correct? It looks like DL, AirFrance and Alitalia all have lounges there and I am curious as to which one to choose....

Not really an option to use the AF or AZ lounges since they are in Terminal 1 and DL is in Terminal 3. On top of that, the AF lounge is past security so you would have to show your boarding pass (which is for a DL-operated flight in another terminal) - TSA won't let you through.

If your JFK-VCE flight departs from Terminal 3, the lounge by Gate 12 is smaller and cozier while the one by Gate 11, while larger and still nicely appointed, is often quite crowded. If you leave out of Terminal 2, there is only one B/E lounge (upstairs, stairs across from Gate 22) - it's quite large and comfortable as well, though it can get crowded depending on the number of flights leaving out of Term 2 at that time.

At JFK, transiting from one terminal to another is not easy or quick. The question is not "what is the best lounge for me to use?" Rather the question is, "is there a lounge in the terminal that I am going to be at and can I get into it?"

And besides, his basic premise is probably incorrect... assuming he is booked on DL with a DL ticket, he would not be permitted to use an AF or AZ lounge in any event, if I read the rules correctly.
