Why won't ST announce when KL flights will be available for DL SM?

I think the simple answer is that it is complicated and a lot of compromises need to be ironed out. As a KLM member who is hoping to get silver this year and gold next year, the sooner it happens the better because flying out of MAN, the whole KLM/Air France merger and Sky Team Expansion looks very convenient to me given the places I travel to (and nicely increases miles earning/miles spending opportunities).
