Earning SkyMiles on KLM?

Earning SkyMiles on KLM?
1. Delta and AirFrance are SkyTeam.
2. SkyMiles can also be earned on Northwest.
3. AirFrance and KLM are now one company.
4. KLM and NW are one alliance.

Does all of this mean I can earn SkyMiles on KLM? I couldn't find any information on that on Delta's webpage.

No. Not until KL joins Skyteam (in principle Sept 15).

I third 9/15, I would say that it will be that day, but it could be within a week or so of that at the most, IMHO.

I just found another post mentioning Sep 13. My flight on KL is not until Sep 23, so any date before that day is fine with me.
